The Soil Perspectives
In 2021 ontwikkelde ik samen met Floortje Zonneveld een aristiek, educatief programma van een week voor de Mat og Moldmentannerháskulin op Sandoy, Faeroër Eilanden.
It is about belonging to a place; to explore what is means to be part of the landscape as well as to be part of the broader world around us.
It is about traveling with our bodies and in our minds.
“Soils are complex mixtures of minerals, water, air, organic matter, and countless organisms that are the decaying remains of once-living things. It forms at the surface of land – it is the “skin of the earth.”

This research based art project is about time, change, belonging, circularity, group processes and culture. About knowledge production and about planting seeds for thought. About going into depts and about the touching of a surface. About our relationship to the landscape, the earth. About roots, radical belonging, ancestral wisdom.
Iedere dag namen we een ander pespectief in en gebruikten we theorie, mapping, dialoog, artistiek onderzoek, performances en maken als middelen om kennis op te doen.
